As an Entry-Level Data Scientist, you will work closely with the monetization and marketing teams to analyze player behavior, improve game performance, and support data-driven decision-making. You will use statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualization techniques to uncover insights that enhance player engagement and monetization.
Key Responsibilities - Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights on player behavior, retention, and monetization. - Develop and implement predictive models (e.g., churn prediction, player segmentation, LTV forecasting). - Design and monitor A/B tests to evaluate game features, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns. - Create dashboards and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders. - Collaborate with game developers to integrate analytics into game design. - Identify trends and anomalies in player data to suggest improvements.
Required: - Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or a related field. - Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis. - Experience with statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and machine learning. - Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau). - Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking. - Passion for mobile gaming and understanding of gaming KPIs (DAU, MAU, ARPU, retention). Preferred (but not required): - Knowledge of big data tools (Spark, Hadoop). - Experience/Knowledge with game analytics platforms (Firebase, Google Analytics). - Basic understanding of mobile game monetization strategies (ads, IAPs).
