Job Summary As an Entry-Level Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines that process and store vast amounts of gaming data. You will work closely with data scientists, and analysts to ensure data is accessible, reliable, and optimized for real-time and batch processing.
Key Responsibilities - Develop real-time data streaming solutions (e.g., for live ops, player activity tracking). - Collaborate with game developers to instrument proper data logging and event tracking. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability through monitoring and validation. - Support analytics teams by providing clean, structured datasets for reporting and ML models. - Automate data workflows to improve efficiency and reduce latency.
Qualifications & Skills Required: - Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field. - Proficiency in Python, Java, or Scala for data processing. - Strong SQL skills and experience with relational & NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB,MySQL). - Familiarity with.NET stack, C# - Familiarity with Unity Game Engine - Problem-solving mindset and ability to debug data issues. Preferred (but not required): - Experience with real-time data streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub, Kinesis). - Knowledge of containerization & orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). - Exposure to game telemetry and event-driven architectures. - Knowledge of cloud systems (Azure)
